WWE star Bayley and more names from the wrestling world have responded to Bryan Danielson’s “thank you” letter to WWE.
Ahead of his AEW in-ring debut tonight, Danielson posted a full letter on The Players’ Tribune, thanking WWE and the people in the company for the time he spent there.
SmackDown’s Bayley, who is currently out with an injury, replied to Bryan’s post, writing: “Gonna miss having you around. Thank you”.
On the contrary, Don Callis, Kenny Omega’s manager in AEW, responded exactly how you’d imagine, tweeting:
“Well that brought a tear to my eye………. [smiling face with tear emoji]. @KennyOmegamanX and I are glad you kept the door open with your former employer so you have somewhere to go on Thursday. It’s a long walk to Stamford in Birkenstocks kid”.
A couple of other notable names who responded were Levi Cooper, formerly Tucker (Knight) in WWE, who wrote: “Working with you was a pleasure brother! Keep killing it!”, and AEW’s ringside doctor Michael Sampson, who replied: “Class act…always! Welcome to @AEW”.
Bryan Danielson makes his debut in a non-title match against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega at Arthur Ashe Stadium tonight.
