Bayley Calls Out WWE Hall Of Famer For Dream Match

On WWE The Bump, Bayley called out a WWE Hall of Famer, claiming the star has been ducking and dodging her recently.

At WrestleMania 35, Beth Phoenix and Natalya were one of the teams that challenged Sasha Banks and Bayley for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. According to Bayley, Phoenix played a key role in The Boss N’ Hug Connection losing the match.

Bayley was asked by Kayla Braxton on WWE The Bump whether recent shots fired towards Phoenix were unfinished business of friendly fire. According to Bayley, their recent interaction was a bit of both, with Bayley still wanting revenge following WrestleMania 35.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion claimed that Phoenix hid behind doors from her at this year’s WrestleMania, before noting that she’s ready to take on The Glamazon.

Here is the full quote:

“I’m going to say a little bit of both. Beth did cause me to lose the tag team titles back at WrestleMania 35. She gave me a freaking Grand Slam off the top of the rope, which doesn’t feel good. I think my shoulder is still paying for it. Then, I lost the titles, not even to her. So, that’s a little unfinished business. And I think she’s ducking and dodging a little too much. You know, I saw her at WrestleMania, and she was hiding behind doors and hiding behind her husband, so I mean, I’m ready, Beth.”

Bayley hasn’t stood across the ring from Phoenix since the 2019 Women’s Tag Team Championship match. At WrestleMania Backlash, Bayley unsuccessfully challenged Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Also at Sunday’s event, a swarm of zombies attacked The Miz during his lumberjack match with Damian Priest. More of the zombies have now been identified.
