Bayley has sent a heartfelt message to a WWE star who came up short in a big match on last night’s SmackDown.
Last night played host to B-Fab’s first real main roster TV match if you exclude a Royal Rumble and a battle royal, and only her fifth TV match overall, even including NXT.
The match was a three-way between B-Fab, Bayley and Candice LeRae to determine who would advance in the tournament to determine the first ever WWE Women’s United States Champion.
Bayley picked up the win, but there was a strong response from fans for B-Fab’s outing.
In a post-match promo, B-Fab said it’s “just the beginning” – a sentiment that Bayley shares, as she replied:
When we were introducing the first ever @WWENXT Womens championship, I lost in the first round of the tournament.
But fast forward all these years and now people align that title with our match in Brooklyn.
It wasn’t your night, but don’t mean it’s not meant for you. Only up ❤
It’s well documented that B-Fab has been putting in the hours training with Natalya at the Dungeon, and she’s had more live event matches of late as well.
Her match last night was accompanied by a brand new individual entrance and theme music.
