Bayley has some praise for an “incredible” WWE star who was involved in a memorable moment on last night’s episode of SmackDown.
Last night’s SmackDown saw numerous appearances from Damian Priest, as he first interrupted the United States Championship match between Sami Zayn and Aleister Black, distracting Black and allowing Zayn to retain the title.
Later in the show, Priest was being interviewed backstage, but as he was about to call out Black for a match, he was interrupted by Kit Wilson.
Over the past few weeks, Wilson has accused Priest of showing toxic masculinity, which has usually resulted in Priest attacking Wilson, rendering him wheelchair-bound.
Last night, Wilson arrived in his wheelchair and attempted to confront Priest, before Priest simply pushed the wheelchair away, with Wilson comedically screaming and crashing into something off camera.
After that segment, Wilson posted some photos on Instagram of him in the wheelchair, with the caption: “Sometimes True Masculinity is Vulnerability.”
Among the comments on his post was former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley, who wrote: “YOU ARE INCREDIBLE.”
Wilson responded: “I have a good Role Model!”
Wilson’s tag team partner in Pretty Deadly, Elton Prince, has been out of action and absent since May due to suffering a head and face injury due to Nathan Frazer landing on him with a standing shooting star press.
Going back to the Priest interview, after he’d pushed Wilson away, he challenged Aleister Black to a Last Man Standing match on next week’s WWE SmackDown in Perth, Australia.
