Bayley has reacted to Indi Hartwell’s WWE release following news breaking regarding her departure last night (November 1).
On last night’s SmackDown in Brooklyn, NY – which was taped last Friday (November 26), Bayley and Naomi took on the team of Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell, with the former coming out on top.
Hours prior to that show airing however, news broke that Hartwell, along with Tegan Nox had been released from their WWE contracts, with Baron Corbin also announcing that he too would be departing the company at the end of his existing deal.
The news of Hartwell’s exit in particular was partciuclarly “unexpected” among WWE talent and staff backstage according to a recent report from Fightful Select.
And now, following the news Hartwell’s last WWE opponent Bayley has taken to social media to react, posting a caption-less selfie of herself and Hartwell to Twitter (see below).
Along with Bayley, SmackDown star Chelsea Green would also dedicate a post to Hartwell, writing a message of support via Twitter.
Green wrote:
I know @indi_hartwell‘s future is full of opportunities and success but it still hurts to hear the news.
I’ll miss you at work, Sam!! I’m counting down the days, 90 to be exact, until you take over the world.
Hartwell and Nox will be free to return to active competition following the expiry of their 90 day non-compete clauses.
