Bayley Teases Return For Tonight’s SmackDown? WWE

Could Bayley finally be making her return to WWE television on tonight’s episode (April 15) of SmackDown?

Perhaps it’s wishful thinking but Bayley had a pair of interesting social media posts today, taking to both Instagram and Twitter to post some cryptic song lyrics.

On Twitter first quoted Local Natives’ song, Someday Now, tweeting:

“How long could I ask you to wait? Wait for someday You already waited so long You want someday to be now @localnatives”

Then popping over to the gram a few hours later, Bayley posted a photo of her entrance graphic along with the immortal words of Ms. Paula Abdul, writing:

“Straight up now tell me
Do you really wanna love me forever”

Bayley has been out of action since June 2021, after suffering an ACL injury while training at the WWE Performance Center.

She was expected to return to action sometime around WrestleMania however despite being in Dallas for WrestleMania 38, Bayley did not end up appearing either at the event or last week’s Smackdown after Mania.

The potential return of Bayley comes on the heels of reports of internal listings of WWE’s top babyfaces and heels within the women’s division.

Just because she hasn’t been on our screens, doesn’t mean Bayley still hasn’t been engaged in WWE drama as she frequently comments on on-going storylines via her Twitter account, including chiming in during NXT 2.0’s angle featuring Natalya and Cora Jade writing:

“Hahahahaha suck it @CoraJadeWWE”

While Bayley may not have any win/loss statistics currently for 2022, you can view the rest of the WWE women’s roster here.
