Bayley Addresses WWE Absence Following WrestleMania Backlash WWE

Bayley has commented on her WWE absence following Sunday’s WrestleMania Backlash Premium Live Event.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion hasn’t wrestled since June 2021, and has been sidelined with an ACL injury since before WWE returned to touring last July.

Recent reports indicated that Bayley would be ready to go by WrestleMania, leading some fans to speculate that she was set to return at WrestleMania Backlash.

Taking to social media to tell fans that she’s still recovering, Bayley tweeted:

☀️?Woke up from a nap to see that you idiots still don’t know understand injuries work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s called ReCoVeRy!!!!!!!! ReHaB!!!!!! Re-MoDeL!!!!!!!!!!! Have some ReSpEcT! ???

Bayley retweeted her post with a GIF of herself doing John Cena’s ‘You Can’t See Me’ taunt. With how often Bayley likes to poke fun at fans, I personally wouldn’t be surprised if she makes her return this week.

After missing the 2021 WWE Draft, Bayley has touted herself as a ‘free agent’ referencing the fact that she wasn’t assigned a brand, so could potentially show up on Raw or SmackDown.

The popular star has teased her return on numerous occassions, but notably stated that she won’t tell fans when she’s actually cleared to return in a December 2021 update.
