Bayley Names WWE Raw Star She Wants To Face For The Raw Women’s Championship

When she made her return to WWE back at SummerSlam after over a year out injured, Bayley, aligned with Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, took aim at Bianca Belair and the Raw Women’s Championship.

After months of butting heads with Bianca, Alexa Bliss and Asuka, Bayley will finally get her title shot against Bianca at the WWE Extreme Rules event this Saturday, when the two face off in a Ladder match.

Former NXT star Candice LeRae made her WWE return on last week’s episode of Raw, where she also took exception to Damage CTRL’s antics, challenging Dakota Kai to a match on the October 3 episode of Raw, which she ended up losing.

Bayley recently spoke on the Die Woche show for WWE Deutschland, where she was asked who on the WWE roster she would like to defend the title against should she take the belt from Bianca at Extreme Rules.

She said:

“Candice LeRae. I know she can walk in here and take over the division because she is popular, and she is trending, and I have hyped her up a lot, so she can thank me. I mean, I probably got her her job back, let’s be honest! I tweeted about her so much!”

Many people backstage in WWE were reportedly ‘very happy’ that LaRae, as well as her husband Johnny Gargano, made their return to the company, as they are very well liked behind the scenes.
