AEW’s Mercedes Mone Reacts To Bayley Being Removed From WWE WrestleMania 41

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has reacted to Bayley being removed from WrestleMania 41, sending a cryptic message to her friend.

After going wire to wire in a gauntlet match on the April 11 SmackDown episode, Lyra Valkyria and Bayley became #1 contenders to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez’ WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

While the duo were set to challenge for the gold at WrestleMania 41 Sunday on April 20, Bayley was removed from the match after a backstage attack during the WrestleMania 41 Saturday pre-show.

With Lyra Valkyria set to find another tag-team partner, reports indicated that Bayley isn’t legitimately injured, and that her removal from the match was a storyline which had been planned for weeks.

AEW’s Mercedes Mone has sent a new message to Bayley, taking to Twitter to write:

The former-Sasha Banks officially finished up with WWE in December 2022, after walking out on a Raw taping that May.

In addition to the AEW TBS Championship, Mone also holds the NJPW Strong Women’s Title, and the RevPro British Women’s Title.
