Bayley WWE WrestleMania 41 Replacement Latest WWE

The latest update has emerged on the replacement for Bayley at tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 41 night two event.

During the Countdown show for night one yesterday, Bayley was shown backstage after being attacked, ruling her out of her planned match on night two.

Bayley was announced for a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match teaming with Lyra Valkyria against champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Bayley’s removal – which was a storyline that’s been planned for a few weeks – means Valkyria will have to find a new partner for the match.

While it’s not officially confirmed, the best bet is believed to be Becky Lynch, who re-signed with WWE a while back and is in Las Vegas this weekend as she attended the Hall of Fame ceremony and was backstage for night one.

Big E seemed to hint towards that on the Countdown panel for night two, as he said:

“There’s a lot of speculation as to who Lyra will be partnering with, and there’s a certain superstar that has been out for a little bit, we’ve been waiting for her to come back.

“She’s supposedly in house, we’ve seen her at Hall of Fame, we’ve seen her backstage, she’s also a fellow countrywoman.

“I don’t know who Lyra will have in her corner as her tag team partner but if a certain Irish woman were to come out people would be very, very excited.”

In an interview with Cathy Kelley during the Countdown show, Liv Morgan said of the situation:

“We had nothing to do with it, how many times do I have to say we had nothing to do with it. It’s crazy how we get blamed for all the wrong things in the women’s division when we’re the best thing to happen to this women’s division.

“Honestly it doesn’t matter who Lyra picks as a tag team partner, I don’t know if she has any other friends or can find anyone that’s brave enough or willing enough to step up to Raquel and I, and you wanna know why?

“Because Raquel and I are the history making, record breaking, three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. That makes us the greatest Women’s Tag Team Champions of all-time.”
