Bayley was removed from WrestleMania 41 due to injury, with Triple H providing an update on the WWE star at the post-show press conference.
Set to team with Lyra Valkyria as they challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Bayley was the victim of a backstage attack during the Coundown show ahead of WrestleMania night one on April 19.
A report on Bayley’s removal from the match noted that Bayley wasn’t legitimately injured, and that this moment was part of a previously planned storyline.
It was also noted that there was “some sympathy” in the WWE locker room towards Bayley.
Speaking during the WrestleMania 41 post-show press conference, Triple H addressed Bayley’s status, saying:
“Don’t worry, guys, Bayley will be just fine, a true pro.”

With Bayley no longer featuring on the WrestleMania 41 card, AEW’s Mercedes Mone reacted on Twitter, suggesting the WWE star should give her a call.
