Bayley is no stranger to WWE WrestleMania having had her first moment back in April 2017 defending the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
That Fatal Four Way match took place at WrestleMania 33 with Bayley defending against Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks.
Since then, Bayley has gone on to have multiple Mania matches, including becoming WWE Women’s Champion in a win over IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.
During a recent appearance on Going Ringside, Bayley spoke about a ‘selfish’ ambition she has for WrestleMania.
The ambition isn’t so much for herself as it is for the current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, with Bayley saying:
“She’s killing it as the NXT Women’s Champion…
“I know everybody wants to work with her, but I’m selfish, so I want to get her first Mania match.”
Bayley would go on to say that she is “tight friends” with Perez, who can also count CM Punk in the NXT star’s friendship group.
Following the women’s Survivor Series: WarGames match on November 30 in which Bayley teamed with Bianca Belair, IYO SKY, Naomi & Rhea Ripley, she also revealed that she is enjoying some down time.
Highlights for the WarGames match which saw Bayley’s team go up against Candice LeRae, Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez & Tiffany Stratton can be seen below this news story.
On December 9, Bayley returned to WWE Raw in a dark match against Tiffany Stratton at the Intrust Bank Arena in Kansas.
