The Bear Country tag team of Bear Boulder and Bear Bronson were considering splitting before they joined AEW.
Speaking with Nicholson Student Media, Boulder explained:
“Me and Joe (Bronson) actually thought about splitting up for a little while. But then when we got the shot at AEW, and after we killed it in our first time there, the fire was literally just back, like that. The fire reignited in that instant.”
They haven’t been very active as a duo this year due to Boulder being injured, but he has recently returned to action.
Their most recent match was a six-man tag loss alongside Anthony Greene against Darby Allin, Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley.
Tony Khan has credited MJF as playing a big part in pushing for AEW to sign Bear Country.
