Becky Lynch Appears On Raw, Picks Ronda Rousey As WWE WrestleMania Opponent

Just as she did two months ago, Becky Lynch caused quite the stir on Monday Night Raw.

Lynch made a surprise appearance on the show following Ronda Rousey’s open challenge title defence victory over Bayley, prior to which she was booed heavily by fans chanting for Becky.

The roof came off when Lynch casually sauntered to the ring and told Ronda that unlike Seth Rollins she did not need to think about who she wanted to face at WrestleMania, because she picked Ronda.

Said Becky:

“You never came looking for me to prove that you are the baddest so I’ve come looking for you to prove that you’re not”

Rousey, clearly flustered by the negative reaction she was receiving, responded by telling Becky that she had been a household name for a decade while Lynch had only been ‘The Man’ for a few months. She said any ring she stepped into was hers and she was going to kick her ass at WrestleMania.

It was a sensational segment, during which it became quite clear that nothing except Ronda v Becky can possibly headline WrestleMania unless WWE wants a riot on its hands. Even adding Charlotte Flair at this stage could be a mistake.
