Becky Lynch Comments On WWE Pushing Her Real-Life Relationship With Seth Rollins

In the main event of WWE Stomping Grounds, Becky Lynch made the save for her real-life boyfriend Seth Rollins after he was low-blowed by Lacey Evans during his Universal Champion defence against Baron Corbin.

Lynch and Rollins then kicked off Raw the following night, accepting a challenge from Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans for a winner-takes-all mixed tag team match at Extreme Rules next month.

Speaking to GuideLive.com, “The Man” commented on why she made the save for her boyfriend on Sunday night:

“Anytime I can slap the head off Lacey Evans, I will take it. I think it would have been stupid of her to think that I was going to stand by and watch that. Especially a low blow, man. Slap him, slow count him if you like, but once you go for the low blow. I’m coming out there.”

Commentary has really been putting over the idea that Lynch and Rollins are WWE’s newest “power couple”. Lynch said that the idea to pair her and Rollins up on TV came about recently:

“That’s something that came about recently. I think seeing the potential to have two top stars fighting side by side as champions is something that we couldn’t really ignore, so here we are.”
