A top WWE star’s contract reportedly expires next year.
As previously reported, Becky Lynch has suffered a minor injury that will cause her to miss the April 17 edition of WWE Raw. However, “The Man” should be in line for a major payday in the near future.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update, noting that she has been dealing with a minor foot injury that has exacerbated recently.
Following Lynch recently dropping her verification badge and changing her display name to her real name Rebecca Quin, Fightful inquired about her current status with WWE.
The report notes that Becky Lynch signed a three-year deal upon returning to the company in 2021. With her time off for maternity leave not a factor, her current deal expires in June 2024. Thus far, Lynch and WWE have not entered negotiations for a new contract.
There are several deals that are scheduled to be up in 2024 with WWE signing much of the roster to four-year contracts in 2020. At that time, the company was signing and extending talent way before their expiration.
Becky has already made connections within Hollywood and is also repped by one of the gigantic talent agency, CAA.
We will provide further updates and news in regards to Becky Lynch’s WWE status when they become available>
