Becky Lynch ‘Personally Invited’ To Wrestling Show After WWE Departure

Becky Lynch ‘Personally Invited’ To Wrestling Show After WWE Departure WWE

Former WWE Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch has been “personally invited” to an upcoming wrestling event following her WWE departure.

Becky Lynch’s WWE contract expired at the end of May, meaning that Lynch is now officially a free agent.

Amid uncertainty surrounding her next move, Matt Cardona has invited Lynch to an upcoming GCW event.

Cardona, who is currently acting as GCW’s General Manager, took to Twitter to send Lynch an offer to attend this Sunday’s (June 2) GCW Cage of Survival 3 event in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The former “Zack Ryder” tweeted:

As GCW General Manager, I am personally inviting @BeckyLynchWWE to @GCWrestling_ Cage of Survival this Sunday!

Cardona also extended an offer to Lynch, as well as Chad Gable, during an interview with Jeremy Lambert and SP3, noting:

“I would love to have Becky Lynch in GCW. Chad Gable in GCW. Oh my God. Unbelievable. Could we afford them? Probably not. They’d have to lower their rate just a little bit. The fantasy booking of what we could do there? SDL (Steph De Lander) vs. Becky Lynch.

“Chad Gable against Blake Christian or Joey Janela. If their contracts expire before Sunday, if Chad wants to lower his rate, he can be in the gauntlet. Becky can enter the gauntlet. Anyone could enter the gauntlet. They’d have to lower their rate a lot. We don’t have that TKO money. We don’t have that TK money, either. We do what we can.”

It was previously reported that Chad Gable’s current WWE contract is expected to expire next week.
