Becky Lynch Responds To Fans Calling Her “Overrated”

I want to start this by saying that Becky Lynch is not overrated. She’s the greatest human on earth and I have no kind of biased opinion whatsoever.

However, there are some who have apparently been giving her that label, and in true Becky fashion, she has shot them down and kicked their lasses.

When asked about the accusations in an interview with AZ Central, Becky said:

“I keep hearing now that I’m ‘overrated.’ I don’t think I even know what that really means. Does it mean that I’m not what you think i should be? I’m working my [booty] off and delivering what I say and get a reaction every single time. What does that mean? Of course it’s only from a few loud people.

“And that’s naturally gonna happen as you rise up the ranks. … Yeah, I think it happens with anybody trying to make art or entertain. But you always hope you can get the people talking in whatever way. That’s what you dream about. This is already bigger than I ever could have possibly imagined.”

Of course not everyone can like everything, and if I’ve learned anything it’s that in this day and age, liking something automatically makes you a terrible person from someone’s point of view.

Anyway, you can see Becky being overrated at the Royal Rumble this Sunday, as she attempts to regain her SmackDown Live Women’s Championship from Asuka.
