WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan has provided an update on the returns of Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
Rousey hasn’t been on WWE TV since WrestleMania 35 in April 2019, while Lynch has been absent since announcing her pregnancy last May.
Speaking with Colin Cowherd, Khan confirmed they’ll both be returning, saying:
“Ronda is going to be coming back at a certain point in time. Becky Lynch, she just had her first baby, she will be coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.”
There had been reports that Vince McMahon was hoping to do a Lynch vs Rousey singles match at WrestleMania this year, but that obviously didn’t come to fruition if it was true.
Rousey’s last match was the three-way WrestleMania main event won by Becky Lynch that saw Lynch capture the Raw Women’s Championship from Rousey and the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Charlotte Flair.
