SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has reflected on her match at Crown Jewel 2021 Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Lynch successfully defended her gold against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair in the penultimate match of the show. Following the event, Lynch took to Instagram to thank the fans in attendance for making her experience so inspiring.
Grateful for the opportunity, Lynch captioned her photo:
“Tonight was about so much more than a title. I’ll set aside my usual trash talk tonight . Thank you to the women I shared the ring with tonight. You push me to do better. Thank you to the fans watching at home.
“Thank you to the incredible fans in Riyadh tonight who cheered so ferociously throughout our whole match and making this first trip to Saudi Arabia so memorable and inspiring so much hope for the future of women around the world. Thank you to the women who have laid the path for us to do what we do.

Big Time Becks became the second woman to defend a title in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following Bayley defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Naomi at Super ShowDown 2020.
As of October 22, Lynch will officially be a Raw star, despite holding the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Similarly, Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will officially join the SmackDown roster on Friday.
