Becky Lynch Says She Would ‘Whoop’ AEW Women’s Division

It’s the turn of Becky Lynch to make headlines for taking a shot at AEW, and specifically, its women’s division.

This came after AEW commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross made a comment about Lynch’s fiance Seth Rollins, saying:

“Maybe someday he’ll be as over as his girlfriend.”

Her response was… a little bit feisty:

Nothing but respect, JR — you’re an amazing announcer! So go down to the locker room and announce that I would whoop your whole women’s division any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

The competitive nature of the AEW vs. WWE ‘war’ tends to divide opinion. Some think both should just ignore each other and get on with their own things, whereas others enjoy the little shots and callouts.

WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins – who believe it or not is engaged to Becky Lynch (I wish WWE would have told us about their relationship more often) – is doing the latter, just earlier this week referring to AEW as the minor league.

Man he’s so cool.

Also interesting to note is that Lynch’s tweet came just three days after she tweeted that Twitter beefing was beneath her, so make of that what you will.
