Becky Lynch Shoots On Sasha Banks Saying ‘She Can’t Hack It’

WrestleMania 35 will likely go down as the single greatest night in the career of Becky Lynch. On April 7th inside MetLife Stadium, The Man” captured both the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships in the main event of WWE’s biggest show of the year.

However, Becky’s Four Horsewomen stablemate Sasha Banks certainly did have the best of times at the show. It was reported that “The Boss” tried to quit the company over WrestleMania weekend, and she has not been seen on WWE TV since. WWE planned for her to enter the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match at the upcoming pay-per-view, but she refused to return and was replaced by Dana Brooke.

“Becky Two Belts” has not been shy about making her feelings towards the former Raw Women’s Champion known. Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Becky revealed her opinions on Sasha’s decision to sit at home and seemingly allow her contract to expire. She said that Banks has “fallen from grace and… can’t hack it”, challenging her to a match to “prove something”.

“Come fight me, Sasha. At one time, Sasha Banks was the top dog, she was ‘The Boss,’ but Sasha’s fallen from grace. It seems like she can’t hack it. Let’s prove something. I know we’ve had tremendous matches back in NXT, and it’s been an age since we stepped in the ring together, and I would love to again, but this is a whole different kettle of fish. This ain’t ‘The Lasskicker’ anymore, this is ‘The Man.’ I would love to go toe-to-toe, ‘The Man’ vs. ‘The Boss,’ to prove who is the top dog now.”

Lynch would go on to discuss how she saw other people, like Banks, get opportunities whilst she was made to quietly wait her turn:

“I’ve got nothing to hide. I’ve obsessed about this and I’ve wanted it for so long, and I know what it’s like to sit in the back and watch other people get opportunities while I wanted to be doing what I love more than anything in the entire world. And I had to sit there in catering and watch that? That is a horrible feeling.”
