Becky Lynch Shares Surprising Reason Her Medical Status Was Unclear Ahead Of WWE Raw WWE

Becky Lynch has shared the reason that her medical status was unclear ahead of her previously announced match on this week’s WWE Raw.

While leading up to Monday’s match against Zoey Stark, there was confusion whether or not Becky Lynch would be cleared to compete and the match stopped being advertised.

With conflicting reports that now make more sense as to why the situation was tentative, Lynch revealed the shocking reason why there was uncertainty.

Telling USA Today the reason for the possibility she wouldn’t be medically cleared to compete on Monday, Lynch said:

“When I landed from London, I had to go to the ER and had to get a cyst removed. Then had to get that redone on Friday, but was in the ring, fine, ready to go by Monday.”

With her real life husband Seth Rollins adding:

“Long story short, she’s a savage. Nothing can keep her down,”

Elsewhere in the chat, Becky named the opponent she hoped to take on at the upcoming premium live event, WWE’s biggest party of the Summer, SummerSlam and it is a familiar one.

Becky Lynch was another match against Trish Stratus. Their feud continues after having previously faced off at Night of Champions, albeit with a big interference from the aforementioned Zoey Stark.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were both presenters at last night’s ESPY’s awards with familiar faces in attendance such as Bianca Belair, Nikki and Brie Garcia and Pat McAfee serving as emcee of sorts, delivering the night’s opening monologue.
