The Becky Lynch knee injury storyline has taken an interesting twist on Raw, with Stephanie McMahon suspending ‘The Man’ because of her refusal to see a doctor.
In the opening segment of the show, Steph noticed that Becky was favouring her leg – the same kayfabed injury she has been selling since Royal Rumble that kept her off recent house shows – and said that it was a liability to let her wrestle without being cleared.
Lynch warned Stephanie not to take her moment away from her but Steph said she was left with no choice but to suspend Becky indefinitely when she again refused to see the doctor. Lynch then punched Stephanie to the floor and fought off security before eventually being escorted from the ring.

Before she left, Becky was confronted backstage by Ronda Rousey, who cut another one of her overly-wordy thesaurus-assisted promos, telling the Royal Rumble winner: “You test the limits of my professionalism every time you stand in front of me and I don’t implode your face”.
Ronda then told Becky she was unprofessional for putting their WrestleMania main event in jeopardy and told her to go home and rest up for their match, adding: “ice and Advil, bitch”.
Just to be clear, Becky’s injury is a work and this is merely a storyline designed to grow anticipation for the WrestleMania match and portray Becky in the Steve Austin/Daniel Bryan role. The highly-anticipated WrestleMania main event is still happening.
