WrestleMania should be renamed “WrestleMANia” after “The Man” Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to capture both the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championship in the “Winner Take All” main event at WrestleMania 35 tonight.

The match was great, with the trio working hard to keep the very tired crowd into it. However, the fans were clearly behind Becky in the match that will go down in history as the first time that women have closed WWE’s biggest show of the year.

Becky pinned Ronda Rousey nonetheless, but the finish of the match was controversial, with Becky ‘stealing with win’ and Ronda’s shoulders being shown to be off the mat on the reply during the pin. It remains to be seen if the ending to the historic main event was planned or a botch, but all will be revealed on Monday Night Raw, presumably…
