Former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch has issued a statement on her absence from the company.
At WWE King & Queen of the Ring, Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch to win the Women’s World Championship.
After losing a rematch on WWE Raw, Lynch went on an extended leave of absence following her contract with the company expiring.
On August 4, an A&E WWE Legends documentary aired covering her career with the promotion.
In response to the episode, Becky Lynch took to her Instagram to issue a statement on the show and her current absence from the company.
Sharing a photo of herself in WWE and a photo of her with her daughter, Becky wrote:
It’s been a helluva career
Being the Man for all of you was an honor, being the mom for her is a privilege. Thanks for watching my bio on @AETV.
When Lynch’s contract expired, the belief was that she would be returning to the company after a break, and she is still listed on the WWE website’s current roster page.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Becky Lynch’s WWE absence when they become available.
