Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has revealed that she has a huge career goal that could be achieved at an upcoming premium live event.
Speaking with Mark Andrews, Becky Lynch revealed that before she steps away from the ring for good, she wants to win the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Recalling her previous Money in the Bank ladder match performances, Lynch said:
“I do want to win the Money in the Bank briefcase before it’s all said and done, and also wrestle Beth Phoenix.
“I’ve been trying to get her for years. She’s been dodging me.
“Every single Money in the Bank match I’ve been in, I’ve always been the second last person.
“We’re talking four Money in the Bank ladder matches, I’ve been the second last person.”
Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins notably won the men’s Money in the Bank briefcase in 2014, before his iconic ‘heist of the century’, cashing in to join the main event of WrestleMania 31, and walking out with the WWE Title.
Believing that Rollins’ cash-in was an all-time great one, Lynch said:
“I don’t think anyone can and I don’t think there’s a point in trying.
“That’s going to go down as the greatest cash in in history, and I’m quite alright to let him have that one.
“Maybe I can come fairly close.”
Money in the Bank 2023 will emanate from the O2 Arena in London, England on July 1.
Lynch made her WWE return on the May 8 edition of Raw to confront Trish Stratus.
