Former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has admitted that the WWE Clash At The Castle premium live event was difficult for her to watch.
On September 3, WWE held its first UK stadium show in 30 years at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
In the main event of the show, Scottish star Drew McIntyre unsuccessfully challenged for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Becky Lynch didn’t compete at the event, as she was recovering from the separated shoulder injury she suffered at SummerSlam in July.
Speaking with WWE UK, Becky Lynch noted that she felt that she was missing out, but believes there will be more international premium live events emanating from the UK in the future.
Lynch said:
“Oh, don’t remind me. It was very hard for me to watch that and to be missing out on it and hearing the crowd and how amazing they were. They were freaking amazing. I have faith that there will be more. Many more.
Lynch also revealed her dream venue for another UK stadium show:
“Where would I like to take a major stadium show? Ireland. Croke Park. 100% that’s it. No hesitation with that.”
The popular star returned to the ring at Survivor Series and scored the winning fall in the women’s WarGames bout.
