An update has emerged on potential plans for Becky Lynch having a gimmick change, ahead of her heavily rumored WWE return.
Lynch hasn’t wrestled since May, with her WWE contract expiring shortly after losing to Liv Morgan in a Women’s World Championship steel cage match on the May 27 edition of Raw.
While there have been rumors about Lynch returning to the company ever since then, speculation has picked up following Lynch attending a WWE media event taking place at Netflix HQ on Tuesday.
A new update has emerged on creative plans for Lynch as per PW Nexus (via Cory Hays), Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are both currently working on what’s next for them creatively.
It was noted that Lynch will possibly shift from her popular The Man character, which she has reportedly been wanting to move on from for some time.
Charlotte Flair has been off WWE TV for almost a year after suffering a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during her match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023 SmackDown episode.
There has not yet been word that Lynch has re-signed with WWE, but we will provide further update if/when this becomes official.
