During the WWE Money in the Bank 2024 pre-show, the status of Becky Lynch was addressed by Michael Cole and Seth Rollins.
Becky’s contract with WWE officially expired on June 1, when she and the company didn’t agree to an extension on her deal, with her becoming a free agent for the first time in 11 years.
While Becky is no longer under contract to WWE, she has been referenced a lot on WWE television since her departure, as well as her still being featured on the company’s roster page and banner for Raw, as well as featuring in WWE’s recent merchandise partnership with Manchester City.
The belief has always been that after her extended break, Becky Lynch will return to the company.
During the Countdown To WWE Money In The Bank show, Michael Cole sat down with Seth Rollins ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match with Damian Priest on the show.
Cole asked Rollins about Becky’s status with the company, saying:
Cole: “Becky obviously leaving WWE after losing the championship, she’s at home with your daughter, how’s she doing, how is The Man?”
Rollins: “The Man’s great. She’s great. I can’t speak to her future or what she’s got moving forward, but she’s great, she’s in good spirits. The little one’s awesome as well. She’s a menace, she runs the ship.”
