Becky Lynch WWE SummerSlam Status Update

An update has come to light regarding the status of Becky Lynch regarding the upcoming August 21 WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.

There have been several reports recently that Lynch won’t be returning to WWE TV until September or October, but according to PWInsider, the plan is for her to at least be backstage at SummerSlam in Las Vegas.

This doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll appear on the show – she’s been backstage at many shows recently including Money in the Bank.

Lynch has been training for a return at the Performance Center recently having been off TV since May 2020 when she announced she was pregnant.

She gave birth to her and Seth Rollins’ first child, their daughter Roux, this past December.

Fans are aware she’s on the verge of returning and her name has been chanted at several shows recently, usually directed towards Charlotte Flair and/or Rollins.
