A Bellator MMA fighter reportedly attended the recent set of WWE tryouts that took place during WrestleMania 38 week.
Per the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ‘Master’ Valerie Loureda attended the Dallas tryouts for previous and current collegiate athletes.
Loureda is has a professional MMA record of 4-1, last competing at Bellator 271 in November, defeating Taylor Turner via split decision.
The flyweight, affiliated with American Top Team, is a Taekwondo specialist who studied at Florida International University.
Loureda is currently 23 year’s old. WWE Senior Vice President for Global Talent Strategy & Development James Kimball recently explained why WWE is focusing on hiring younger athletes, revealing the ideal age that WWE wants stars to debut on the main roster.
