Beth Phoenix Sends Message To Rhea Ripley After WWE Return

Beth Phoenix has shared a message for Rhea Ripley following her return at WWE Royal Rumble 2023.

During the men’s Royal Rumble bout, Edge made his WWE return. After Edge was eliminated by Finn Balor, the Judgment Day faction continued to beat the Rated R Superstar down.

After Ripley dropped Edge, Beth Phoenix then made her return, spearing the Nightmare, before the fight was broken up by officials.

Ripley went on to win the women’s Rumble later that night. Reacting to the Judgment Day member’s victory, Phoenix tweeted:

“Congratulations @RheaRipley_WWE. Now I’m going to drag you to Hell.”

the Royal Rumble winner replied:

“Can’t wait to be welcomed home with open arms… You’re in my playground now.”

Phoenix vowed to get revenge, writing:

“Playgrounds are for children. And KID….Mother is back to punish you.”

Phoenix and Ripley last clashed at Extreme Rules in October 2022, during Edge’s I Quit match against Finn Balor.

Edge chose to quit to save Phoenix from a con-chair-to, which Ripley decided to connect with anyway.

As Ripley has earned a title bout for WrestleMania 39, her rivalry with Phoenix will likely conclude ahead of the April event.

Some have speculated that Edge and Phoenix will take on the Judgment Day at Elimination Chamber, which will emanate from Montreal, Quebec, Canada in February.
