Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks have now reacted to their SmackDown Women’s Championship match from WrestleMania 37.
At last year’s WrestleMania, Belair defeated Banks in the first women’s singles match to main event at the Showcase of the Immortals. The EST and The Boss recently sat down together to rewatch the bout.
Belair revealed that this was the first time she was watching the match back since April 2021, noting that she finds watching this particular contest emotionally exhausting. Banks stated that she hadn’t rewatched the match since the Friday after WrestleMania 37 with producer TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd).
While watching the entrances, Belair explained that the lead-up was so chaotic, she found herself anticipating her walk-out on the day of the event.
Commenting on the now-iconic staredown after the first bell, Belair noted that she found herself wanting to soak everything in. Banks pointed out that not only was this match historic for women’s and African American wrestling, it was the first time the duo had performed in front of a live crowd since the beginning of the pandemic.

At WrestleMania 38 next month, Belair is scheduled to challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship, and Banks will team with Naomi to fight for the Women’s Tag Team Title.
