Current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has been announced as a speaker for the upcoming Sports Business Journal (SBJ) Game Changers event on October 26.
The Game Changers event will be the 10th of it’s kind, celebrating and elevating the impact of women in sports. The event is set to take place at MetLife Stadium in New York City, the stadium that held both WrestleMania 29 in 2013, and WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Bianca will take part in a conversation with Hannah Withiam, where she will discuss her journey to the ring, and how she became the EST of WWE.
About Game Changers
Launched in 2013, the Game Changers Conference examines the multiple ways women intersect with sports as athletes, executives and consumers. Past speakers have ranged from PepsiCo Chairman & CEO Indra Nooyi, who focused on women ascending the ranks in sports and corporate America, to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who shared his views on the state of women’s sports, to Cynthia “Cynt” Marshall the CEO of the Dallas Mavericks who discussed how she changed the culture of a male-dominated organization.
Key topics include:
Investing in and the growth of women’s sports
Leadership principles
Athlete profiles
Women as consumers
And more…
Bianca was in action on this week’s episode of Raw, where she was defeated in the main event by Bayley following interference from a returning Nikki Cross.
Bianca successfully retained her title against Bayley in a Ladder match back at WWE Extreme Rules.
