Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has shared her thoughts on Triple H taking over WWE creative responsibilities.
Following Vince McMahon’s retirement, WWE confirmed that Triple H would be heading up creative.
Speaking on The Masked Man Show, Belair noted that she’s excited to see Triple H in this role.
Recalling Triple H pulling her aside following a match during the 2017 Mae Young Classic, Belair said:
“Triple H, he’s been such a huge part of my career. He was there in NXT when I first got started. He was one of the first ones that had faith in me, and saw something in me, and put me on the big stage.
“After the Mae Young Classic with Kairi Sane, he pulled me aside and shared these words with me that I always keep to myself, but it was validation of like, ‘I was born to do this.’ Now for him to be here for my future, I’m just excited for him to be here and see where this goes.”
Belair will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch during this weekend’s SummerSlam premium live event. The SmackDown Women’s Title will also be on the line, with Ronda Rousey slated to challenge for Liv Morgan’s gold.
