Bianca Belair Comments On Trish Stratus Vs. Becky Lynch Being Pulled From SummerSlam Nickelodeon/WWE

WWE SummerSlam is set to take place tomorrow night in Detroit, featuring eight matches on a stacked card for the show.

However, a talking point of frustration heading into the show has been WWE cutting the planned Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus match from the show due to reported time constraints.

The match has instead been postponed two weeks to an episode of Raw in Winnipeg, with discussions also taking place about the match being moved to Payback the following month.

Speaking to WrestlingNews.co, Bianca Belair was asked about the match between Becky and Trish being pulled from the show.

She said:

“Well, I think everybody wants to be on a Premium Live Event. That’s what we all want. And that’s really what it’s just all about, you know and you know, of course, you’re always going to want to be on the card so but you know at the end of the day you know it’s Asuka, Charlotte and me in a Triple Threat and you have Shayna, you have Ronda so we’re super excited about those matches on the card. But you know, that’s just the competitor in us. You know, we want to be in the card, we want to go to the show and show up and show out and tear the house down have the best match on the card. You’re going to feel a certain way if you’re a competitor. And that’s just what it is at the end of the day…Competition makes you better. We’re all fighting for a spot at the end today.”

Becky and Trish are not the only top women’s stars missing SummerSlam, as Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has also taken several shots about not being booked for the show.
