Scrapped plans for Bianca Belair on the May 30 edition of SmackDown in her hometown have now been revealed.
Ahead of Friday’s show, WrestleVotes reported that Belair was set for a “big time entrance” on SmackDown, during her WWE return.
While Belair did receive a warm welcome from the crowd in Knoxville, Tennessee, WrestleVotes reports that her appearance didn’t take place as initially planned.
Per WrestleVotes on Twitter, as of 6pm on Friday night, Belair was set to make her entrance with the University of Tennessee marching band.
This ultimately didn’t happen, with Belair making her entrance to her familiar entrance theme, ahead of her confrontation with Naomi.
Naomi went on to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match, defeating Nia Jax and Jade Cargill in their three-way qualifying match.
Belair notably made her entrance at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 with the Texas Southern University marching band playing her to the ring, ahead of her Raw Women’s Championship match against Becky Lynch.
With Money in the Bank set to take place on June 7, the final men’s qualifying match has been announced for the June 2 Raw episode, with CM Punk, AJ Styles and El Grande Americano to compete for the final spot in the men’s ladder match.
Karrion Kross has reacted to being left out of the final qualifying match, which you can read more about right here.
