Big AEW Storyline Likely Having To Change

It seems like 2020 is the real of wrestling couples having babies, as after Jon Moxley revealed that Renee Paquette is pregnant on Dynamite last month, there was another pregnancy announcment on last night’s show.

During the show last night, it was revealed that Cody and Brandi Rhodes are expecting their first child together, with the baby obviously due at some stage in 2021.

This is obviously fantastic news for the Rhodes family, and everyone here at WrestleTalk would like to extend their best to the couple at this time.

However, this does unfortunately mean that we are probably not going to see the Brandi Rhodes vs. Jade Cargill match that AEW has clearly been building up over the last few weeks.

At this time, it is unclear what match AEW is going to pivot towards. They could build the feud around Cody Rhodes and Shaq not, or either Red Velvet or Big Swole could be drafted in to replace Brandi.

For any potential updates on what AEW has planned for the feud and what is likely to change following the Brandi Rhodes’ pregnany announcment.
