Big Boom AJ has given an update on his wrestling future following his in-ring return at AEW Full Gear Zero Hour.
Big Boom AJ of the Costco Guys faced off against QT Marshall on the Zero Hour pre-show of AEW Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey, with he, Big Justice and The Rizzler appearing on the show.
The match received a great ovation from the live fans, with AJ scoring the win with a Powerboom.
AJ also appeared at the post-show media scrum, where he discussed his future in wrestling, including potentially winning the AEW World Championship.
He said:
“I think I am having a lot of fun where I am right now. I’m really loving everything Big Justice and I have an opportunity to do. We talk about some of the creators that we’ve been with. We’ve had an opportunity to meet Mr. Beast. We’ve had an opportunity to meet some of the biggest creators in the world. Work with Costco. Work with some of the greatest brands in the world. Stay in contact with our audience. There is a lot we’re doing right now.
“I don’t think a champion run is in my future. That is a lot of dedication that I’m not sure I have right now. To be here at AEW and wrestle multiple times throughout the year and see where that goes, that’s kind of more the direction I’m leaning.”
