As the date for Impact Wrestling’s Hard to Kill pay per view approaches, we are learning more of the card. That now includes the Knockouts Championship match, which has been announced for the show.
As was revealed on tonight’s episode of Impact, Taya Valkyrie will challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the title at Hard to Kill.

Purrazzo accepted Valkyrie’s challenge for her title in a backstage promo during the show. During her speech, she said while she doesn’t usually involve herself in the peasants of the Knockouts division, she has respect for Valkyrie.
Purrazzo mentioned that because Valkyrie was the longest reigning Knockouts Champion ever, if she is able to defeat Valkyrie that means she can become the longest reigning Knockouts Champion.
Purrazzo is currently holding the title for the second time, having won it at Turning Point in November. Meanwhile, Valkyrie lost the Knockouts title earlier this year on January 18 after a historic 377-day reign.
The current card for Hard to Kill is as follows:
- Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers vs. Rich Swann & The Motor City Machine Guns
- Impact X-Division Championship Triple Threat Match – Manik (c) vs. Chris Bey vs. Rohit Raju
- Impact Knockouts Championship Match – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie
- Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match – Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz vs. TBA
