A big change has been made to the AEW World Championship main event at next weekend’s All In Texas pay-per-view.
At AEW Double or Nothing, Hangman Adam Page was crowned the winner of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament with a victory over Will Ospreay, earning him the right to challenge for the AEW World Championship at All In.
Hangman will be the latest in AEW to attempt to free the AEW World Championship from the grasp of Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, but a big change has now been made to their match.
To kick off tonight’s AEW Dynamite 300, Hangman Adam Page came to the ring, where he once again promised to take the championship from Moxley, and that Moxley would need to kill him to stop him, challenging him to a Texas Death Match.
After another assault from the Death Riders, Hangman retrieved the briefcase with the AEW World Championship inside, demanding Moxley to accept his challenge for Texas Death, which he ultimately did.
Page would then prove he was willing to dig deep to win by laying out Marina Shafir with a Buckshot Lariat.
HANGMAN GAVE @MARINASHAFIR THE BUCKSHOT LARIAT!
