Big Change To WWE SmackDown Presentation For Move To Three Hours

A big change has seemingly been made to WWE SmackDown’s presentation for it’s first show in 2025 and move to three hours.

Tonight’s show was the first WWE SmackDown show to be three hours long following Raw’s move to Netflix, and a big change has seemingly been made to the show’s presentation.

In the past, WWE has used blue ring ropes for SmackDown while using red ring ropes for Raw, but for SmackDown in 2025, a different part of the ring is instead blue.

WWE debuted a new blue ring mat for tonight’s SmackDown show, which you can see in the picture below.

It is not yet known if WWE will also use a red canvas for Raw, but we will likely find out on Monday for the show’s debut on Netflix.

Along with the new ring mat, Lilian Garcia has also moved over to SmackDown following reports of her and Alicia Taylor swapping brands.
