Big Changes To WWE ‘Superstar Spectacle’ India Special Plans?

Another update has come to light regarding the upcoming WWE ‘Superstar Spectacle’ India special show, featuring some potentially big changes.

According to a new report from Sportskeeda, the show will be taped in the ThunderDome instead of the Performance Center as was originally believed to be the case.

The show is to be taped sometime between January 20 and January 22 to air on January 26, which is celebrated as Republic Day in India.

We covered on the site previously some of the major WWE stars that were being discussed and one of those was WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

However, after testing positive for COVID-19 this past weekend before Raw, McIntyre has almost certainly been ruled out and thus won’t be appearing.

The report notes that AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, New Day, Bayley and Rey Mysterio are all being discussed.

However, Kofi Kingston is currently out due to a jaw injury, so New Day might be out of the equation too.

Among the names believed to be appearing on the show to fulfill the India part are former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, the Bollywood Boyz Samir & Sunil Singh, Kavita Devi, and Rinku & Saurav of Indus-Sher.
