Last night’s AEW Rampage may have been the host of a big clue that Ric Flair could be making his way into the promotion soon.
The opening match saw Andrade El Idolo pick up a win over Pac after Chavo Guerrero attacked Pac behind the referee’s back.
Andrade seemingly didn’t realise what Chavo had done, and attacked him after the match, suggesting he didn’t need Chavo’s help and wanted to beat Pac fairly by himself.
No longer having Chavo by his side could be an indication that Ric Flair will be taking that space soon. He has already been in his son-in-law-to-be’s corner in AAA.
Ever since he was released by WWE last month, it has been stated that Flair heading to AEW was extremely likely due to his relationship with Tony Khan and several other people in the promotion, such as Andrade, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson.
Tony Khan has continually denied talking to Flair about coming into AEW, so this isn’t confirmed by any means, but Andrade ditching Chavo has certainly led to speculation.
