Big Clue Shows Who WWE Sees As Its Biggest Stars

Big Clue Shows Who WWE Sees As Its Biggest Stars WWE

A big clue has emerged that potentially gives us an idea of who WWE currently sees as its biggest, or at least most marketable, stars.

You might think the banner at the top of the WWE.com/Superstars page isn’t very important, but it’s a good indication of the faces WWE wants people to see first when they look at that page.

The banner has been updated and several new faces have popped up, and a number of people who were on the previous banner have been removed as well.

To compare, here’s the old banner:

And here’s the new banner:

So to break it down, here’s a list of the people who weren’t on the previous banner, but have been added to the new one:

  • Theory
  • Bron Breakker
  • Becky Lynch
  • Drew McIntyre
  • Jey Uso
  • Jimmy Uso
  • Cora Jade
  • Meiko Satomura
  • Cody Rhodes
  • Riddle

Here’s a list of the people who were on the old one but are NOT on the new one:

  • Big E
  • Alexa Bliss
  • Finn Balor
  • AJ Styles
  • Sami Zayn
  • Ilja Dragunov
  • Rhea Ripley
  • Sasha Banks

And here’s a list of people who were on the old one and are still on the new one:

  • Mandy Rose
  • Ronda Rousey
  • Charlotte Flair
  • Bobby Lashley
  • Liv Morgan
  • Bianca Belair
  • Roman Reigns
  • Seth Rollins

So you can kind of take this information however you want, but as mentioned earlier, it’s perhaps a little bit of an indication as to who WWE wants to position as it’s most marketable stars since they’re the ones that have been chosen to be on the banner at the top of the page.

Of course there is representation for all four WWE brands, including NXT UK in the form of Meiko Satomura.

If you’re in the UK but didn’t manage to get tickets to Clash at the Castle on September 3, WrestleTalk is hosting a watch party at The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch, London, and we’d love for you to join us! Click here for more details.
