Big Debut On AEW Dynamite, Current Star Injured

A former AAA competitor is scheduled to make his AEW Dynamite debut this week on Wednesday in a huge six-man tag match.

In 2019, Laredo Kid teamed with The Lucha Brothers to wrestle The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega at AEW Fyter Fest. Kid is now set to appear on Dynamite, reforming a former trio.

AEW President Tony Khan has announced that on Wednesday night, Kid will team with Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Mierdo to face Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson and Brandon Cutler. Explaining that PAC is still injured, Khan noted that Fenix and PAC will have to wait for their AEW Tag Team Championship match.

Calling Kid’s first AEW match a classic, Khan tweeted:

“With @BASTARDPAC recovering from injuring his ankle at Revolution, he’s not yet cleared for the tag title shot with @ReyFenixMx v. @youngbucks , so Death Triangle are bringing back the Lucha Brothers’ original @AEW Trios partner Laredo Kid to get the edge ahead of the title match!

“Nearly 2 years after his @AEW debut in a classic match at #FyterFest 2019, @Laredokidpro1 will return for his #AEWDynamite debut this Wednesday LIVE on TNT, reuniting with the Lucha Brothers @ReyFenixMx & @PENTAELZEROM to battle World Tag Team Champions @youngbucks & @BranCutler!”

At AEW Revolution, PAC and Fenix earned an AEW Tag Team Championship match. With PAC currently on the shelf, it isn’t currently known when this title bout will happen.

Kid has wrestled around the world for the likes of AAA, IMPACT and NOAH. Soon to stand across the ring from some major titleholders, Kid will have the opportunity to prove his worth on an AEW stage.
