Big E has provided another update on his broken neck, revealing that his injury was almost a lot more serious.
On the March 11 edition of SmackDown, a Big E fractured his C1 and C6 vertebrae after a botched suplex. The former WWE Champion doesn’t expect to undergo surgery during his recovery.
Big E has now revealed that during his first doctor’s appointment since leaving the hospital, he was told that he narrowly escaped paralysis, a stroke, and even death with his C1 fracture.
The popular star tweeted:
“Had my first doctor’s appointment and learning (because of the C1 fracture) I narrowly escaped a stroke, paralysis or death is very sobering. Life feels even more precious and valuable now.”
Pro Football Doctor David Chao recently suggested that Big E’s C1 fracture could potentially be career ending, but it’s worth noting that Chao isn’t associated with Big E’s case, and hasn’t personally examined the star.
We continue to send our best wishes to Big E and wish him a full and complete recovery
