Big E was the WWE Champion so many of us wanted, and to be fair to WWE, they did eventually let us have it.
Unfortunately, in true WWE style, they gave us what we wanted and then said “oh but we’re not actually going to make it good”, and Big E’s WWE Championship reign struggled to take off from the start.
According to a recent report from PWTorch, many backstage in WWE were very upset with how Big E has been treated. First he lost his belt to Brock Lesnar at Day 1, and has now been sent back to SmackDown to be in a tag team.
Since the report came out, there has been a huge outpouring of support for Big E, and he has now thanked fans on social media for their love.
Man, y’all show me so much love & I’m deeply grateful. Thank you for positively shaping my life.

Just from a fan’s perspective, it looks like it will be some time before we see Big E in the main event picture again, especially when there’s a 55-year-old Goldberg to push.
