Big E has heaped praise on a WWE star after her “rapid & deserved rise” up the ranks on NXT, as well as veteran former champion Bayley.
WWE NXT Deadline 2025 saw Kendal Grey pull off a major upset by winning the NXT Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match – which guarantees her a shot at Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship.
The moment would catch the attention of former WWE Champion Big E, who hailed Grey’s ascent in the company after only making her in-ring pro wrestling debut in March 2024.
In a post on Twitter, E named both Grey’s success and Bayley’s recent Lodestone female wrestling training camp in Orlando as two “amazing things” happening within women’s wrestling right now.
E wrote:
A lot of really amazing things happening in women’s wrestling.
Bayley’s Lodestone & Kendal Grey’s rapid and deserved rise have been a joy to watch.
Bayley’s multi-day training camp was free of charge for attendees, with several independent names taking part such as Izzy Moreno, Nikki Blackheart and Janai Kai.
Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley were among the female WWE stars who helped out with the camp, with 17-time world champion John Cena also paying a visit.
